To help you find your ideal venue we have included some links to aid you in your search. Community centres are popular venues and prices start from as little as £5.00 per hour. Also, churches often have halls to hire and are worth considering.
If you wish to provide your adult guests with alcoholic beverages, your local working men's hall, pub, sports club or hotel may have a function room available.
When booking your event it's important to ensure your venue will meet your needs.
Things to consider:
- Is there enough space for your chosen package?
- Is there a kitchen? Does it have all the equipment you need? Do you need to pay extra to use it?
- Is there enough parking available?
- Do you have to take your waste away with you?
- Will the heating be on for you?
Venues by borough. Some of these venues include descriptions based upon our vists to them, these descriptions are our personal oppinion. However, always visit your venue prior to booking to ensure it meets your requirements.
Caerphilly Borough
Lovely function room, fantastic view over golf course across to the castle, room has nice seating arrangements with big round tables surrounding the dance floor all with views out, good clean toilets, huge car park. Suitable for either soft play package which can be situated on the dance floor in the centre of the room. Very friendly helpful staff.
Llanbradoch Community Centre - Llanbradoch, near Caerphilly
Very large hall similar to a sports hall size, with stage, very large kitchen area, small side seating area off main hall, clean and tidy with a large car park. This building has disabled access. This venue can accomidate any package due to it's size. Great size, reasonable rates.
Tynewydd Community Centre - Caerphilly
Very large hall similar to sports hall, with stage, good kitchen, good car park, clean and tidy with disabled access plus enclosed garden space suitable for summer use. Again this venue can accomidate any package due to it's size. Great size, reasonable rates.
Blackwood Golf Club - Blackwood
Small but lovely lounge area with comfy sofas, nice chairs, decorated in natural colour scheme, small bar, clean toilets, good size car park. Suitable for either soft play packages which can be positioned to fill the dance floor space in the centre of the room.
Good size venue with stage area, large car park just outside, small but clean kitchen, venue is clean and tidy with friendy staff. This venue can cater for a combination package with bouncy castle situated at the back of the room in front of the stage and soft play towards the bar (some chairs will need to be moved this end)
Ael -y-bryn Community centre - Rhymney
Large sports hall style building, large car park, clean and tidy with friendly staff. This venue can accomidate any package due to it's size. Great size, reasonable rates.
Lovely venue, very large car park, children's park located opposite function room (good if you have older children), bar area, disabled facilites, outdoor area with benches, recently refurbished function room. Suit either soft play package or tots castle plus original soft play package in function room, if using outdoor space could suit bounce n slide.
Abertridwr YMCA
Good size hall with ajoining kitchen with hatch though to main hall. Lots of parking. Clean and tidy plenty of chairs tables available.
Penalta RFC
Very nice venue. Clean and tidy soft furnishings very nice and modern. Large car park. Close to local park if you have older siblings able to play unsupervised. Suitable for Original soft play packages.
Maesycymmer Community centre
Large hall with adjoining kitchen also stage area. Opposite park with plenty of parking available. Friendly staff, helpful and flexable. Suitable for either soft play packages plus clownaround castle or bounce n slide alone.
Top club, Cefn Fforest
Nice function room at the back of the club. Bar area toliets easily accessable from function room. Parking on the road only. Suitable for eith soft play pacakge or original soft play plus tots castle.

Torfaen Borough
PLICS Social Club, New Inn
Nice room, lots of parking but gets very busy when match on. Clean and tidy. Suitable for any soft play of clownaround castle.
The Community First hall, Trevethin
Lovely medium size venue, will fit either a soft play or bouncy castle package but not both. Has a large car park within a short walk, full disabled access, small but nice kitchen, it's opposite a community garden so this space could also be utilised. Very reasonable rates.
Llanyrafon Social club
Really lovely venue, recently refurbished. Great function room with bar area, good size kitchen ajoining also french doors to one side of the room out onto garden area, so plenty of light. Has been very nicely decorated, large car park and disabled facilities. If just using indoor space soft play plus tots castle would be best but in summer months you could put larger castle outside if you wished.
Lady of our Angels Parish Hall, Cwmbran
Really nice venue, lots of space. Kitchen area, lots of parking, high cellings lots of light. This well kept hall is suitable for all packages.

Rhondda Cynon Taff
Penygraig Labour Club, Penygraig
Large venue with dance floor and stage area, function roon is upstairs but they have a lift so this does nor restrict your package choice. This venue will fit a bouncy castle and soft play package with plenty of room left for seating. The club is well kept and staff & members are helpful and flexible in terms of set up times etc.
Welcome Inn, Tonapandy
Good size venue with large car park. Function room is well maintained with lots of natural light and dance floor. This venue is suitable for either soft play package.
Maurdy Community centre
Good size hall, plenty of parking, friendly staff very flexable and helpful. Nice location opposite park. This venue is suitable for either soft play package with clownaround castle.
Ynyswenn Welfare Hall
Good size Hall, lots of parking, reasonable rates, all very well kept and friendly caretaker. Plenty of space for Original and deluxe soft play packages, could fit clownaround castle with original soft play and still have room for play and tables etc.
Crown Hill Community Centre, Near Church Village
Large hall with kitchen and stage area. Very large car park. Clean and tidy. Suitable for all packages.
Very nice venue, function room overlooking the pitch, bar area, plenty of parking, clean and tiday. Suitable for either soft play package or original soft play plus tots castle in main function room. bounce n slide can be used outdoors or in second function room.

Morganstown Village Hall
Very nice hall, a good size with adjoining Kichen area plus stage. Large car park, clean and tidy. Suitable for either soft play package plus clown around castle or bounce n slide alone.
Village Hotel, Whitchurch
Lovely selection of function rooms, helpful staff, able to bring your own food if requested. Lots of car parking great facilities.
Radyr Old Church rooms, Radyr
Lovely small venue. Very clean and tidy. Good size car park. suitable for either soft play package.
St Thomas Church Hall, Birchgrove
Small but nice venue. Kitchen area adjoining main room, clean with disabled toliets. Parking on road only so best if your guests live locally. Suitable for either sot play packages or original soft play plus toys castle or bounce n slide alone.

Rivermead community centre, Rogerstone
Lovely community centre, very well maintained with clean modern rooms with lots of natural light. Plenty of tables and chairs available. This venue is ideal for softplay packages, no bouncy castles are allowed. There is an outdoor multi use games area which could be used to ocupy older guests. Large car park right outside, easy to find.
Ty Du Community centre, Rodgerstone
Nice venue, large car park, children's play area close by, kitchen adjoining the function room, clean and tidy. Suitable for either soft play package or original soft play plus tots castle inside, bounce n slide could be used outside.

Merthyr
Very nice venue, lovely room with nice view over the cricket field on a fine day. Nice lounge area too as well as bar and function room. Space outside could possibly be used if permission given. Suitable for either soft play package indoors.
Large sports hall size space with adjoining kitchen/ cafe style area. Clean and tidy ample parking available. Suitable for any package.
Blaenau Gwent
Nice venue, with good size car park, bar, pleasant function room, small dance floor area. Suitable for original soft play package.
